The Linn Wildcats lost against the Osage Indians back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Linn fell 57-45 to Osage. Linn has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zach Hatfield, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. Hatfield scored a full 31.1% of Linn's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Peters, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Linn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Osage, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Linn will take on Macks Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Macks Creek is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Osage will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Knob Noster at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st.
