It was a good run, but Conant unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbard West Hilltoppers. The game marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Glenbard West, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Conant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Glenbard East on the 12th. As for Glenbard West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Neuqua Valley on the 12th.
