Canutillo is 1-9 against Bel Air in play since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Canutillo will head out on the road to square off against Bel Air at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Canutillo faced off against Horizon for the first time this season, and Canutillo walked away the winners. They didn't even let Horizon onto the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for Canutillo as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Alexis Reyna, which was the first he's scored this season.
Meanwhile, Bel Air scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Burges as Bel Air made off with a 5-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Bel Air has posted yet this season.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Yander Rodriguez and
Paul Oros, who scored.
The victory got Canutillo back to even at 4-4-1. As for Bel Air, the victory also got them back to even at 5-5.
Canutillo beat Bel Air 4-2 in their previous meeting back in March of 2022. Will Canutillo repeat their success, or does Bel Air have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
