Wabash hasn't had much luck against Manchester recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Apaches will be playing in front of their home fans against the Squires at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Wabash is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Southern Wells on Saturday as they made off with a 12-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Apaches sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Andi Conliff was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Gibson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Wabash always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, while Manchester put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Triton. The Squires blew past the Trojans 22-0. The result was nothing new for the Squires, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Hadley West, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Jarrett, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Manchester pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Wabash, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Manchester's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Wabash has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Manchester, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.8 strikeouts. Will Wabash keep running through batters, or will the Squires buck the trend?
Wabash suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Manchester in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Apaches avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
