Somonauk/Leland came into Thursday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Indian Creek Timberwolves by a score of 54-45 on Thursday. The Bobcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Indian Creek's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Boehne, who posted seven points along with 18 rebounds and three steals. Bethany Odle was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

Somonauk/Leland's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Indian Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
