The Plainview Pirates won the last time they faced the West Holt Huskies, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Plainview came out on top against West Holt by a score of 47-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Plainview.
Abbie Kromarek continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Plainview's points. Teya Boyer was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Plainview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for West Holt, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Plainview the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Wynot at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. West Holt on the road again on Thursday and play against Boyd County at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th. Hopefully Boyd County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Tuesday.
