The Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers will head out on the road to face off against MTI School of Knowledge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. MTI School of Knowledge took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Crosspointe Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Even though KIPP Legacy scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Crosspointe Christian Academy still came out on top. Crosspointe Christian Academy took their game against KIPP Legacy 67-55.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crosspointe Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quinton Ford, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Ford hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Neby Yewubneh, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, MTI School of Knowledge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 43-33 to GEO Next Generation.
Crosspointe Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for MTI School of Knowledge, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.
Everything came up roses for Crosspointe Christian Academy against MTI School of Knowledge when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 98-42 win. With Crosspointe Christian Academy ahead 62-24 at the half, the game was all but over already.
