Franklinton entered their tilt with Rocky Mount on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Gryphons 17-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 on Tuesday.

Madison Lada made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with seven RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madison Peebles, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Leah Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Franklinton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Franklinton pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Rocky Mount, they are on a 34-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
