Pine proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 15) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sumner Cowboys, sneaking past 5-3. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Pine's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Sumner, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.

Pine has already played their next game, a 7-6 win against Springfield on the 24th. As for Sumner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Holden on the 21st.
