Pell City got a great performance from  Savannah McGaha as she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  McGaha has posted since back in February.

 Looking ahead, Pell City will host Hewitt-Trussville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Sardis,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as Sardis Lions  take on  Fort Payne Wildcats at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Fort Payne will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Sardis surely won't give up without a fight.
