Harris Came Up Big in Sharyland's 70-33 Defeat
Starting off the list is Sharyland's Calvin Harris, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harris threw for 372 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 315 passing yards dating back to last season.
On the season, Harris has thrown 19 touchdowns while averaging 292.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 15.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 74.33 rushing yards.

A Season-Best Performance from Cameron Sarinana Leads Mission Veterans Memorial over Hanna
Mission Veterans Memorial was led to victory by Cameron Sarinana, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sarinana threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns.
The win snapped Mission Veterans Memorial's winning streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record. Sarinana's next contest is against Sharyland on Thursday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Roma had to settle for second on Friday, but Luis Pena sure wasn't going down easily. Pena was unstoppable, making 17 total tackles.
Roma's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. Pena and Roma will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Benjamin Martinez Puts an End to Mission Veterans Memorial's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Benjamin Martinez, Mission Veterans Memorial said goodbye to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Nobody could stop Martinez on Friday as he picked up 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards.
For the year, Martinez has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 46.3 receiving yards per game.

Aiden Uribe Turns in Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles
Aiden Uribe continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 18th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least six total tackles. He forced a fumble and made 16 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Hanna, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Uribe. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Uribe saw the Golden Eagles), he forced a fumble and made 17 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
