Dymally is 1-7 against Jordan since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Dymally Challengers will head out on the road to challenge the Jordan Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Dymally was handed a 20-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Lincoln on Monday. Dymally narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Lincoln 43-40. The win was just what Dymally needed coming off of a 56-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Gerald Coland was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Amonte Mobley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Jordan entered their tilt with Sotomayor with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Jordan walked away with a 60-52 victory over Sotomayor on Monday.
Dymally is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
Dymally might still be hurting after the 70-50 defeat they got from Jordan when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Dymally was down 47-13.
