It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Dwyer Panthers had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulls 66-36 on the road. Dwyer has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.
Dwyer's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tamari Reed led the charge by scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Reed posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Nealy, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
The win (which was Dwyer's sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for West Boca Raton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.
Dwyer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-45 victory vs. Blanche Ely on the 10th. West Boca Raton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
