Owen Boone and Austin Rowe made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Boone pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That home run marked the first that Boone has launched this season.
In other batting news, Colton Hall was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Lucas Glaser was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

LaBrae's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lakeview, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Lakeview's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Bulldogs have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for LaBrae, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Lakeview continue to outrun the ball?
