Mohawk Area lost to Hopewell back in December of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Everything went the Mohawk Area Warriors' way against the Hopewell Vikings as the Mohawk Area Warriors made off with a 79-53 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Warriors have posted since February 19th.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zach Kovell, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Thomas Pipkins III, who put up seven points.

Hopewell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Mohawk Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-68 win against Mercyhurst Prep on the 6th. Hopewell has also already played their next matchup, a 69-60 victory against Ellwood City on the 9th.
