Roncalli lost to St. Mary Catholic back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Roncalli Jets blew past the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs 79-47. The Jets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 32 points or more this season.

Roncalli's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. Mary Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roncalli won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Mary's Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Mary's Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Roncalli likes a good challenge. As for St. Mary Catholic, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Lourdes at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
