The Little Wound Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Crazy Horse Chiefs at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Little Wound suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 84-22 loss at the hands of Red Cloud. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Little Wound has scored all season.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-20, which was the final score in Crazy Horse's tilt against Philip last Tuesday. Crazy Horse has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Little Wound's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Crazy Horse, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
Everything came up roses for Little Wound against Crazy Horse in their previous matchup back in December of 2017 as the team secured a 75-34 victory. Does Little Wound have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crazy Horse turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
