Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Barre). They had just enough and edged the David Thibodaux Bulldogs out 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since December 6th.

Port Barre's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for David Thibodaux, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Barre will challenge North Iberville at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for David Thibodaux, they will face off against Berwick at 5:35 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
