West Catholic's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Comstock Park Panthers as they made off with a 14-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Jordan Empie made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

In other batting news, West Catholic let Cate Sanders and Grace North run wild. Sanders went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while North went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave North a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sarah Goffer, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

West Catholic now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Comstock Park, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

West Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
