Jackson is 3-0 against Satsuma since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Jackson Aggies' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Satsuma Gators at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Jackson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
Jackson put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Escambia County with a sharp 62-40 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Jackson has posted since December 28, 2023.
It was another big night for Tyra Caves, who scored 23 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jazmine Jones, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Satsuma's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 29-20 to Robertsdale.
Jackson's win was their 18th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.33 points. As for Satsuma, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
Everything came up roses for Jackson against Satsuma when the teams last played last Friday as the team secured a 62-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
