Palm Beach Central relied on the efforts of Lily Hutchinson, who had 23 assists and five digs, and Natalie Suarez, who had 15 digs and three aces. That's the most assists Hutchinson has posted over her last seven matchups.
They weren't the only good servers: Palm Beach Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, South Fork unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Okeechobee by a score of 3-2.
South Fork couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Okeechobee a tough time in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 29-31, 15-13.
Palm Beach Central now has a winning record of 10-9. As for South Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.
Palm Beach Central might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from South Fork in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Broncos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
