The Hamilton Aggies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. 2024 welcomed they with a 64-43 loss courtesy of Lawrence County. Hamilton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lawrence County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
It was another big night for Braylon Dame, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds for Lawrence County. The match was Dame's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Keepers, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Hamilton bumped their record down to 9-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lawrence County, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Hamilton will be playing in front of their home fans against Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Winfield is ranked 150th, while Hamilton is ranked 132nd). As for Lawrence County, they will head out on the road to face off against Brewer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Brewer focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
