In what's become a running theme this season, the McCool Junction Mustangs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Dorchester as McCool Junction made off with a 51-31 victory. The victory was familiar territory for McCool Junction who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for McKenna Yates, who scored 19 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie Clark, who scored nine points.
McCool Junction is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Dorchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing East Butler the next time they take the court. Dorchester will host East Butler at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while McCool Junction will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
