 In other batting news,  Addy Prow and  Sydney Skeen did most of the damage at the plate:  Prow  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances, while  Skeen  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Nevaeh Lindle, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Christian County is still undefeated  this season after their  match against Webster County  last Thursday, but Webster County came as close as anyone has to beating them. Christian County skirted past Webster County  4-2.
 Madisonville-North Hopkins' win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Christian County, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-0.
 Everything went Madisonville-North Hopkins' way against Christian County in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023 as Madisonville-North Hopkins made off with  a  9-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madisonville-North Hopkins since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
