Edison is on a four-game streak of home losses, the Golden Bears a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Edison Wildcats will take on the Oak Glen Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, Edison took a serious blow against the Bruins, falling 72-45.
Meanwhile, Oak Glen was beaten by the Beavers 70-43 on Friday. Oak Glen has not had much luck with the Beavers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Oak Glen saw an underclassman step up: A J Ramgeet scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Cole, who scored seven points.
Edison has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Oak Glen, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
Edison came up short against the Golden Bears in their previous matchup back in February of 2016, falling 54-47. Can Edison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
