The Jersey Panthers won the last time they faced the Mascoutah Indians, and things went their way on Friday too. Jersey walked away with a 51-38 victory over the Indians.
Jersey's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tessa Crawford, who scored 22 points along with four steals. Crawford hasn't dropped below 19 points for four straight games. Casey Kallal was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Jersey is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for Mascoutah, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.
Jersey will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kahoks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Collinsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday. As for Mascoutah, they will head out on the road to challenge the Terriers at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
