After flying high against Loara  last Friday, Anaheim came back down to earth. The Colonists came up short against  the Costa Mesa Mustangs on Friday, falling  37-14. The Colonists were down  31-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Anaheim now  has a losing record of 3-4. As for Costa Mesa, the  victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
 Anaheim has already played their next matchup,  a  20-17  loss against Santiago on the 17th. As for Costa Mesa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  29-6  win against Bolsa Grande on the 17th.
