Softball Recap: Rice Consolidated Comes Up Short

Rice Consolidated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-3 to the Shiner Comanches. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Comanches from their previous meeting back in February of 2023.

Rice Consolidated saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kasey Eggeymeyer, who went a perfect1-for-1 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Eggeymeyer's brought in this season. Another was Paige Eggemeyer, who went a perfect2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.
