Drew Brown looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 223 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The Classical Academy also got a significant boost from Riley Romine, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 102 yards.
The Classical Academy wouldn't let Eaton keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Andrew Borchert, Matthew Wright, and Jackson Smetana picked up one apiece. Borchert's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles.
Florence was taken down by The Classical Academy 50-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2017. Thankfully for Florence, Cade Bethany (who threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 63 yards on only six carries) won't be suiting up this time.
