East View had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 28-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stony Point Tigers.
Despite the loss, East View still got an impressive performance from Ty Blair, who rushed for 102 yards, and also threw for 133 yards on 17 of 26 attempts.
Stony Point can attribute much of their success to Kinnick Kalbus, who threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Stony Point also got a significant boost from Erin Bolton, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.
East View will be defending their home-field for the first timethey go up against Burnet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stony Point, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
