While Tazewell's win against Graham wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the G-Men on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the G-Men recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Tazewell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Walker Patterson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Patterson also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

Tazewell's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Graham, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Tazewell and Graham could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Bulldogs will challenge Virginia High at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (275 vs. 114). Meanwhile, Graham (ranked 260th) will meet Bluefield (ranked 109th) at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
