Westport is 0-3 against Case since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Westport Wildcats will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Case Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (Westport is ranked 80th, while Case is ranked 71st).
Last Friday, Westport suffered a rough 64-39 loss at the hands of Blue Hills RVT.
Meanwhile, Case made easy work of Seekonk on Thursday and carried off a 60-39 victory. The victory was just what Case needed coming off of a 86-53 loss in their prior match.
Westport's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Case, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Westport came up short against Case in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 50-44. Can Westport avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
