Lake Park's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Wheaton-Warrenville South as they made off with an 11-0 win. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Gianna Doyle and Alex Kiefer did most of the damage at the plate: Doyle went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Kiefer went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two runs gave Doyle a new career-high. Reese Nolbertowicz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Naperville Central got the win against Neuqua Valley on Monday by a conclusive 13-0.
Avery Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Miller was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gianna Ecklund, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Elise Simms, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Naperville Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive contests.
Naperville Central's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Lake Park, their win bumped their record up to 20-7.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Lake Park hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Naperville Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
