The Parowan Rams will face off against the Delta Rabbits at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parowan has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Parowan managed to slip by Richfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 14-6 to the Wildcats on Saturday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ella Lemke made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ryann Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, Delta had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Rabbits might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.
Joslyn Christiansen and Lexi Nielson did most of the damage at the plate: Christiansen went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Nielson went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Delta's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Parowan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Parowan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. However, it's not like Delta struggles in that department as they've averaged .321. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Parowan got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Delta by a conclusive 16-8 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rabbits turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
