Mooresville has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Whiteland Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mooresville is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Whiteland in Indiana (Mooresville is ranked 24th, while Whiteland is ranked 157th).
In what's become a running theme this season, Mooresville gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Terre Haute South Vigo, posting a 67-16 win at home. That 51 points margin sets a new team best for Mooresville this season.
Mooresville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalyn Bunch, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Mcginley, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Whiteland beat Perry Meridian 47-42 on Tuesday. The victory was just what Whiteland needed coming off of a 51-29 defeat in their prior match.
Mooresville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Whiteland, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.
Mooresville strolled past Whiteland when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 56-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mooresville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
