The Paducah Dragons suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 80-32 loss at the hands of Jayton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Paducah has scored all season.
Paducah's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darren Mackey, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakyen Wright, who scored seven points.
Paducah's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Jayton, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.
Paducah will be playing in front of their home fans against Spur at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jayton, they will head out on the road to face off against Motley County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Motley County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1551st, while Jayton is ranked 284th).
