Fairfield has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Stafford Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Fairfield is ranked 233rd, while Stafford is ranked 242nd).
Fairfield suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Berean Academy, falling 66-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fairfield has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Stafford was able to grind out a solid victory over Kinsley on Friday, taking the game 42-30. The win was just what Stafford needed coming off of a 69-39 loss in their prior match.
Stafford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody Kerschenske out in front who scored eight points along with five rebounds and five steals. Pedro Berenguel was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Fairfield now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Stafford, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Things could have been worse for Fairfield, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-47 loss to Stafford in their previous matchup back in January of 2023.
