Camas Valley added to the longest winning streak in 1A Special District 2 (8 Man) this week by beating Gilchrist, 76-20. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Camas Valley led the league in scoring this week by notching 76 points on the Grizzlies. JOSH MATTOX threw for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 69 yards during the win.
Camas Valley's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. MATTOX has thrown for 989 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Caleb LIndsey has 16 catches for 443 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Kirsten Wolfe's team and Elkton. The Hornets enters the contest ranked fourth in the state, while the Elks ranks 18th.
