CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -
Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, Tenn.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Tanner Webb thew a touchdown to
Joshua Rogers with with 5:00 to go in the second quarter, bringing the team to victory over
Sweetwater (Tenn.) 24-21.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Webb to Rogers in the second quarter, the Seahawks led 21-14 at the half.
Silverdale Academy expanded its lead to 10 points entering the fourth quarter. SA's lone score in the quarter came on a field goal by
Michael Dellinger.
The Chattanooga school was ahead by as much as 10 before the Wildcats pulled closer.
The loss comes after Sweetwater defeated Austin-East 28-12 last week. The loss snapped Sweetwater's three-game winning streak.
