It was another big night for Jaquelyn Barnes, who scored 25 points for Covenant School of Jacksonville. The match was Barnes' eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Finley Johns, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds.
Temple Christian Academy's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.0 points per game. As for Covenant School of Jacksonville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
