The team relied heavily on Ariana Little, who fired off two home runs, two stolen bases, and one double while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Zoey Carter, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases.
Parkland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .844. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as R.J. Reynolds only posted an OBP of .429.
