Clarkston has won three straight games at home, while Grand Ledge has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Wolves will welcome the Comets at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Clarkston is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Bloomfield Hills with a sharp 20-5 win on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wolves with their most commanding win of the season.

Brooke Bond and Reagen Allen did most of the damage at the plate: Bond went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Allen got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Bond a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sophia Bordes, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Clarkston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Grand Ledge got themselves on the board against Okemos on Thursday, but Okemos never followed suit. They blew past the Chiefs 7-0.
Tomia Geter made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jade Queen, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Amelia Bernard was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Grand Ledge's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Clarkston, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
