Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western). They came out on top against the Northwest Mohawks by a score of 70-58 on Friday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 75-31 win the Mohawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Western is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Western won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Western Brown at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Western's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. As for Northwest, they will challenge South Gallia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
