Sugar Creek Charter came out on top against The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus on Friday thanks in part to Derek Thomas's efforts. Thomas posted seven points and four steals, which was good enough to set a new career-high in steals.

Coming up, Thomas and Sugar Creek Charter will be taking part in a tournament against Lab University Christian Academy Regional at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Thomas will face off against Braylon Johnson, the Kings' star guard. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the court.
