Potential state record breakers Ennio Yapoor, Norland (Miami, Fla.)
Current total: 11,024 career passing yards
Current record holder: Tucker Israel,
Lake Nona (Orlando, Fla.), 14,082 yards

Armando Lujan, Sunray (Texas)
Current total: 796 completions, 1,316 attempts, 11,137 yards, 137 touchdowns.
Current record holders: Grant Gunnell,
St. Pius X (Houston, Texas), 16,108 yards, 195 touchdowns; Hunter Lile,
Booker (Texas), 1,047 completions, 1,677 attempts
Note: Last year, Lujan completed 286 of 438 passes for 4,233 yards and 61 touchdowns. Repeating those numbers would easily give him state records for completions, attempts and touchdowns. He needs 4,972 yards to break the yardage mark.
Stone Saunders, Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, Pa.)
Current total: 554 completions, 843 attempts, 10,142 yards, 156 touchdowns
Current record holders: Alex Erby,
Steelton-Highspire (Steelton), 13,567 yards, 773 completions, 175 touchdowns; Michael Schuster,
Camp Hill (Pa.), 1,109 attempts
Note: In his fourth year as a starter, Saunders could eventually hold career state records for completions, attempts, yards and touchdowns. After throwing over 50 touchdown passes the past two seasons, he could also break Erby's new state record of 61 touchdown passes in a season.
Brady Atwell, Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, Ky.)
Current total: 104 career touchdown passes
Current record holder: Elijah Sindelar,
Caldwell County (Princeton, Ky.), 144
Note: Atwell threw 68 touchdown passes as a junior, making Sindelar's record within easy reach.
Alvin Henderson, Elba (Ala.)

Current record holder: Mac Campbell,
Alexandria (Ala.), 9,839 yards; Terrance Wilkes,
Wadley (Ala.), 160 touchdowns, 960 points
Note: Henderson already set single-season records in Alabama for rushing yards in a season (3,523), touchdowns (68) and total points (408). He needs just 2,240 rushing yards, 20 touchdowns and 120 points to tie the career marks in the state in those categories.
Shane Rosenthal, Newbury Park (Calif.)
Current total: 240 catches, 3,621 yards
Current record holder: Jalen McMillan,
San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, Calif.), 5,234 yards; John Humphreys,
Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, Calif.), 287 catches
Note: Rosenthal plays with one of the top junior quarterbacks in the nation in
Brady Smigiel, so it's expected that he will be part of a high-powered passing offense. He needs just 47 receptions to tie Humphreys. McMillan's record will be a bit tougher as he will need 1,613 yards.
Lotzeir Brooks, Millville (N.J.)
Current total: 167 receptions
Current record holder: JoJo Bermudez,
Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, N.J.), 195 receptions
Note: Brooks already broke the records in New Jersey for career receiving yardage (3,355) and touchdowns (51) and he will only add to those totals. He needs just 28 catches to tie Bermudez.

Note: With two early games, Brett Fitzgerald has already scored 13 extra points and has tied Reed for points after touchdown at 190. He will need 16 field goals and 42 kicking points to tie his brother Ryan, who is currently in his final year at Florida State.

Current record holders: Caleb Pavy,

Current record holder: Terrell Zachery, Wadley, 4,140 yards
Note: Smith is just 65 yards away from catching Zachery for the receiving yardage record in Alabama.
Ashton Vogel, Decatur Central (Indianapolis, Ind.)
Current total: 23 career field goals
Current record holder: Bryan Robertson,
Seymour (Ind.), 34 field goals
Note: Vogel kicked a state record 18 field goals as a junior and needs just 11 field goals to tie Robertson.

Current total: 12 field goals, 68 kicking points
Current record holder: Joe Riley,
Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, Mass.), 19 career field goals; Tucker Hannon,
Duxbury (Mass.), 146 kicking points
Note: Massachusetts doesn't have a state record book but the records currently found in the MaxPreps Massachusetts High School Football State Record Book are based on research via the MaxPreps leaderboards and articles in the Boston Globe. Clements, who played at Bishop Feehan as a junior, needs just seven field goals to tie Riley and 78 kicking points to tie Duxbury.
