Albany strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Seymour Panthers 69-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-0.

A big part of Albany's win came down to the chemistry between Lyle Wheeler and his top target Calhan Fairchild. Wheeler threw for 101 yards and three touchdowns while Fairchild picked up 44 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Fairchild a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

Albany's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Seymour, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Albany will face off against Coahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seymour, they will challenge Tahoka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
