Christ School can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Carolina Day, posting a 73-19 victory on the road. That looming 73-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Christ School yet this season.
Zymicah Wilkins and Lleyton Thomas-Johnson were among the main playmakers for Christ School as the former scored 15 points along with five rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Bryson Cokley was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Asheville Christian Academy earned a 52-42 win over Asheville School (Independent) on Tuesday. Given Asheville Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Asheville School (Independent) is ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Christ School has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Asheville Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Christ School didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Asheville Christian Academy in their previous matchup on January 10th, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory.
