Volleyball Recap: Wall Township's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Wall Township came into Wednesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Keyport Raiders 2-1 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crimson Knights have posted since March 31st.

Wall Township's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Keyport, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Wall Township will face off against Asbury Park at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Crimson Knights are facing the Bishops at the right time seeing as the Bishops are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Keyport, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Holmdel at 4:00 p.m. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
