In what's become a running theme this season, the Caverna Colonels gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Glasgow with a sharp 73-48 win. That's another feather in the cap for Caverna, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Caverna found their leader in underclassman Jaylin Craine, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Martin, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Caverna's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-7. As for Glasgow, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caverna and the Hawks will face off at 8:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Larue County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 19 games -- so hopefully the Colonels like a good challenge. As for Glasgow, they will head out on the road to challenge the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
