It was another big night for Hayden Heim, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of St. Marys' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabel Hurla, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
St. Marys' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-3. As for Concordia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
St. Marys will be playing in front of their home fans against Rossville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Concordia, they will head out on the road to take on Clifton-Clyde at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clifton-Clyde presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Concordia in Kansas (Clifton-Clyde is ranked 22nd, while Concordia is ranked 154th).
